Split Personality

First Born, Passages and Split Personality

Split Personality comes from the same incredible red cedar tree as did First Born and Passages Into the Void.

First Born

I cut the top half of the tree into two sections and “rough sculpted” First Born and Split Personality as “test-beds” of designs for Passages.

Then I set them both aside and made Passages my primary focus.

Passages

Four years later, in examining First and Split, I felt both trials were valid and worthy in themselves. So I completed them. Read the full story here.

Bottom line, I’m sure you’ll recognize the influential design elements, the voyeurism on a small scale, that both pieces contributed to their big sister, Passages.
