A stunning rich green emerges with Captiva under flourescent light, delivering luminosity and strong shadows to the glass.

This is the surprise in Surprising Small Treasure.  It surprised me, too!

A few of my sculptures are cast in dichroic glass.  That means, as you may know, that under different lighting – in most cases fluorescent light – the piece changes color.  Like magic.  And it’s fascinating to see it change before your very eyes.  But no dichroic glass I’ve ever used has ever changed as dramatically as Captiva!  I promise…this is the same sculpture.
